This is my first week at school this year. I wrote a story. First I drew my picture. Next I told Mrs Kerr my story. She wrote the words for me and I copied underneath.
"It was a little bit tricky to write the words because some words are hard. I like my picture because there is a big toy house at my playground and it's for kids to go inside."

I love your picture Elijah. You are talking about your favourite playground at Farm Cove, snakes and ladders playground. I see you decided to draw our playhouse at home in your picture. Remember how daddy and a few men had to lift and carry the playhouse. Mom xx
